General Information

The Congress will be organized in Plenary Lectures, Debates, Meet the Expert and Plenary Sessions. Each session will include four or five speakers each presenting his scientific research in approximately 20 minutes plus 5 minutes discussion. Moreover, Special Sessions on Last Minute Hot Topics, Sponsored Symposia, Round Tables, Oral Presentations and Poster Sessions will be available.

Symposia Proposal

ESG Members and Scientific Societies operating in the field of gynecology may propose an entire symposium at their own cost, suggesting titles, presentations, speakers and chairmen. The Scientific Committee will examine the proposals for inclusion in the scientific programme with the possibility to include one extra speaker or a chairman of its choice. The deadline for submission is April 12th 2013 All plenary, oral and poster presentations of the Congress will be made available on-line.

Poster Session

The Poster Session will take place on September 20th from 18.00 to 20.00. Poster Authors should stand by their Posters for presentation and discussion.

CME Accreditation

The 10th Congress of the European Society of Gynecology was granted 15 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).

A UEMS Questionaire will be available on your personal area after the end of the congress.

Official Language

English and French are the official language of the Congress.

Congress Venue

The Congress Venue is the Square Meeting Centre (how to get there), an architectural landmark in its own right, in the vibrant Mont des Arts cultural quarter in the heart of Brussels. It sits easily among the city's major museums and art galleries, including the recently opened Magritte Museum, devoted to the country's master of surrealism. All the major shops and tourist attractions are just a short stroll away, and there are plenty of good hotels to choose from in the neighbourhood. SQUARE is situated in front of the Central Station, handy for the international airport and train connections.

Insurance

The Congress Organizers will not accept any liability for personal injury, or loss/damage to property, belongings of meeting participants either during or as a result of the Congress or during their stay in Brussels. It is, therefore, recommended that participants arrange their own personal health, accident and travel insurance.
